Nurturing
Excellence
The criterion
of measuring excellence is the
medals/championships won at different
competitions, particularly international and
national championships. The main clientele
group of SAG which is targeted for nurturing
excellence is under 19 age group, mainly
schoolgoing boys and girls. The following
analysis is made on the basis of medals as
well as participation. In the international
competitions, the SAG’s main contribution is
in coaching while the Commissioner of Youth
Services offers financial assistance.
