Yoga and Fitness Centres

• To promote Yoga and fitness awareness in rural areas, 25 taluka centres have been identified where a multi-gym will be given with a part-time yoga instructor. The centres may be started in the year 2001-02. Details of district wise Yoga and Fitness centres are given in Appendix 8.

Hosting of National Events

During 2004-05, 50th National SGFI Tournament were hosted by Gujarat, the details can be seen in table 13 below.
