very old Sanskrit scholars liable for
assistance are recommended by academy and
State Government to Central Government and
every year such 10 aged scholars have been
given assistance by Central Government. |

Publication of books
Under the
publication of books scheme, Total 50
books have been published on various
subjects by various learned persons on the
occasion of 50th birth anniversary of
India's freedom. |

Assistance to aged scholars
Aged
scholars are given assistance of Rs.1000/-
per month by academy or decided by academy
from time to time. |

Seminar /
programme
Seminars
/ programmes involving various forms /
subjects are organised by academy, and
litarary, institutes are given assistance
for organising such programmes. |

Gaurav
Puraskar
Every
year one Sanskrit scholar who has for the
life time worked for amelioration and
development of Sanskrit language is
honoured with Rs.25,000/-, a shawl and
symbol of institute and letter of honour
by the academy. |

Gopalkrishna Trust. Junagadh
Grant of
Rs.2.50 lakh is received by this academy
from this trust. From the amount of
interest on this amount late Shri
Jayantibhai Bhatt award of Rs.21,000/- a
shawl is given to eminent scholar of
Sanskrit every year. |

Rs.1.00 lakh is given to Sanskrit scholar
from the donation given by Sitaram trust (Morari
Bapu) every year. |

Award is given to best books in Sanskrit
by this academy. |

assistance in the form of published books
is given by this academy for library every
year to different institutes like
colleges, high schools, schools situated
in Gujarat State. |
